Tournament Highlights

A big thanks to those that came to watch us (7/8th boys C-1) beat St. Margaret Mary 33- 27 yesterday on their home court.  This is the first time in 5 years that a team I've coached has beaten SMM. My first year of coaching, they knocked us out by three points in the first round (on their home court) and then went on to win the city championsip.  

 

Needless to say, I'm  little bit happy about our win yesterday. Anyone that was there can attest to what a great game it was and what a great job our guys did under pressure down the stretch - I think they handled it better than I did. It was definitely a stressful game . . . luckily I no longer have to worry about pulling my hair out in a situation like that.

 

We hope to see some folks at our game Thursday (I think against St Agnes, unless Holy Spirit pulled a big upset yesterday). The support is always welcome and appreciated.
